Car Sharing Services Malta Ltd (GoTo) is seeking to recruit Car Wash Vehicle Handlers responsible for cleaning and distributing its’ fleet.
Car Sharing Services Malta Ltd is the national car-sharing scheme in Malta and Gozo which provides residents and visitors with a green transportation alternative that relieves congestion, creates more parking spaces, reduces air pollution levels, promotes the development of electric vehicles market, and most importantly, saves the individual’s cost for transportation. The cars are self-driven by paid members from a designated, exclusive public car-space to another space paying a per-minute fee. GoTo Malta is available as iOS and Android apps, plus a desktop site.

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the vehicle handlers will initially be responsible for cleaning & distributing the fleet to the assigned parking spots across Malta and Gozo. On a daily basis, the vehicle handlers will take instructions from the Fleet Manager, as well as the COO to clean vehicles onsite and/or in our garage. The selected candidates will also be inspecting the fleet, repairing minor damage, reporting faults & telematic issues to their direct superior so that these are handled in a timely manner before next usage. Futher responsibilities include the moving of vehicles to the body shop or other parking facilities as directed by his/her superior.
The selected candidates shall possess a valid car & motorcycle driving license and efficient driving skills, be over 18 years of age and demonstrate a passion for the automotive industry. S/he will be knowledgeable about the local traffic and road legislations. The candidate must be capable to work on his/her own initiative, manage time appropriately and have a clean police conduct and driving licence. Hands-on experience in managing and working with car washing equipment and detergents will be considered an asset.
Vehicle handlers will be required to work on full-time, permanent basis of 40 hours per week. Hours worked over and above 40 hours per week shall be paid at overtime rates as per local employment legislation.
